Paid Media for Google's Android Pay

The Situation: 

Android Pay was launching in Canada and looking to increase awareness and generate app downloads through a paid media campaign on social. Given our history with previous Google launches, such as Google Play, our team was chosen to help manage the Android Pay creative and paid media in a way that could effectively launch themselves into the Canadian market.

The Solution: 

Electronic payments are beyond just credit cards and e-transfers now. Google, partnering with many banks across Canada, created the technology to make it even easier for people to pay on the go, using the device that was already in their hands. Recognizing that consumers already use their phones for everything else, we developed a specialized strategy that targeted android users on their mobile devices, where they were already browsing media and shopping online. We created highly relevant content to the purchases consumers were making (and wanted to make with their phones), driving them to the Google Play store to download the app. 

The Results: 

Although this campaign is still going, we've seen amazing engagement! We've generated over 25,000,000 impressions and continue to reach our target audience and encourage installation and use of the Android Pay app.
